Event Details

Karen Ardley Associates are delighted to offer this blended learning programme ‘Managing Difficult Conversations’ as part of the KAA Blended Learning Calendar for 2021.

At times we need to engage in conversations that feel uncomfortable or difficult . Perhaps there are conversations we would rather not have….

This module will help you to prepare and approach such conversations with more confidence. We will explore ways to plan and focus on how to hold an open to learning conversation which will focus on understanding and finding solutions.

By completing this programme we aim:

• To deepen delegates’ awareness of what the context for open and productive conversations can look like
• To extend delegates’ understanding of the behaviours of professional colleagues
• To support delegates’ as they further develop a greater understanding on how to manage and challenge difficult adult behaviour.

This module contains exemplars and ideas from the educational world and the wider world of work. Both “worlds” have a lot to offer each other. While delegates’ “systems and processes” may not be identical to the processes outlined on this course we do expect delegates will be able to draw some similarities and take the ideas within to further develop their own expertise.
