Event Details

This is a FOBISIA Affiliate Webinar Series by Karen Ardley Associates Ltd on 14 May 2024 at 3 pm ICT titled Evaluative Leadership – Assessment for Learning for grown-ups!

Evaluation is a leadership habit not an event. It should be embedded into leadership just as Assessment for Learning is embedded into learning.
Ask yourself:

  • Do you know the difference you make as a leader in your school?
  • Do you have clear, high-quality evidence of what is working well?
  • Do staff feel part of and empowered by the monitoring (and evaluating) process in your school?

The answers to these questions are embedded into the evaluative leadership approach where all leaders continuously seek to understand the impact or difference being made to learning and learners.

Motivated by principles of continuous improvement, evaluation should connect the school vision to implementation and impact and use purposeful processes to connect high quality evidence. Evaluative leadership connects vision to implementation, it’s formative, its developmental, it’s a way of strategic thinking for all leaders.

Target Audience: All School Leaders.

KAA Director, Jayne Bennion will be delivering this webinar.
