Karen Ardley Associates are delighted to offer this blended learning programme ‘Effective Differentiation’ as part of the KAA Blended Learning Calendar for 2021.

This programme is focused on practical, easy to implement, classroom strategies to accelerate children’s learning and progress through effective differentiation. The programme explores techniques and strategies to personalise learning in order to ensure appropriate challenge and success for all learners.

The activities in the self-study module provide the opportunity for you to reflect on current practice whilst sharing new, inspiring and engaging strategies, that will impact positively upon pupil progress and learning

This course will run for four hours over two sessions, plus additional online self-study:

Session 1: 6th April 2021, 8.00-10.00 BST
Session 2: 27th April 2021 8.00-10.00 BST

Target Audience

Primary school teachers, subject leaders and middle leaders

Delivery and Format

This programmes will use a blended approach of facilitated online discussion and online self-study using the KAA Online Learning Platform.

• 2 hours pre programme in facilitated group session
• Self-study module via KAA Online Module ‘Subject Leadership’
• 2 hours post programme in facilitated group session – de-brief, sharing learning and action planning

The facilitated sessions will be delivered using Zoom and the online self-study modules will be accessed via KAA Online Learning Platform

Joe Brown

Joe is currently Assistant Head of a high performing primary school in England, with a leadership role which includes oversight the curriculum as well as teaching and learning across a setting of over 600 children.

As an outstanding practitioner and experienced leader at different levels, Joe combines experience of classroom practice in three different key stages with leadership roles which have incorporated individual subjects, key stages and various teaching and learning roles to provide effective insight into best practice and improving pedagogical understanding.

Joe has facilitated highly-regarded programmes for KAA, internationally and in the UK, focussing on best practices for teachers and leaders.
