This programme will provide teachers and teaching assistants with the opportunity to explore practical strategies to ensure all learners are effectively supported and challenged. The focus will be on staff working together to plan and deliver successful learning activities in the classroom. Participants will consider a range of techniques and ways of working together to maximise the engagement and progress of all learners.
The programme will include evidence-based strategies from recent research, translated into easy to implement classroom practice.
Staff will have the opportunity to work collaboratively to identify clear, engaging ways to support and challenge every learner.
Programme Delivery
Day 1 of the programme will be delivered face to face in school during August Inset days. Classroom teams will have detailed action plans ready for implementation.
All participants will have access to relevant KAA online self-study modules to support their learning. These can be accessed in their own time after day 1 of the programme.
Small phase groups of staff will be provided with review sessions. These sessions will be remotely facilitated during the Autumn term.
