We are delighted to be remote facilitating this online Coaching for Impact programme for Doha College.

Programme Outline

This three-day KAA certified programme provides participants with the opportunity to explore and develop the key skills required for coaching in a school context, includes intersessional activities and blended learning opportunities from KAA Online.
Days of facilitation normally include 6 hours of focused work, three weeks apart. 

A range of practical activities will enable the participants to develop understanding, confidence and competence in relation to coaching and explore ways in which becoming a coach positively impacts their self-efficacy, agency and wellbeing.
We will explore the skills, qualities and practice required by successful and effective coaches. Participants will be given opportunities to apply their new skills to leadership, peer and classroom coaching to foster professional learning, improve teacher performance and develop a culture which promotes self actualisation.

Target Audience

Team, middle and senior leaders who would like to develop their coaching skills.

Objectives

  • To identify and develop the key coaching skills.
  • To provide opportunities to practice and develop coaching skills.
  • To explore practical techniques for peer, leadership and classroom coaching for improving wellbeing, learning and performance acting as supportive mechanism to promote wellbeing among staff.
