Karen Ardley Associates are delighted to be working with the team at Park Lane International School to a Classroom Development programme on Challenge and Responsive Teaching.

The workshops will be an interactive and collaborative look at how teachers and pupils can develop challenge and outstanding practice in the primary and secondary classrooms.

 

     Programme Objectives

 

  • To deepen awareness of what challenge looks like in the Classroom
  • To provide an opportunity for colleagues to collaborate and explore a variety of strategies that could be embedded into classroom practice

 

Key Areas Covered

The workshop will provide an opportunity for colleagues to explore research-based approaches to:

 

  •        Challenge and Responsive teaching
  •        Modelling
  •        Feedback

 

Target Audience
Staff will work in Primary and Secondary groups, each with a KAA Facilitator who is an outstanding classroom practitioner.

 

The workshop will balance opportunities to actively explore strategies alongside gaining an understanding of the

pedagogy that underpins each area.
