Performance Management
Effective Performance Management processes combine many requirements of schools into one system. This joined up thinking reduces workload, has greater impact than the individual elements on their own and has at the core an emphasis on staff development.
This module aims to show how all these elements can be brought together in a process that has a positive impact on learner outcomes in schools and is seen to be worthwhile to colleagues.
Performance Management Module Objectives:
- To deepen your awareness of the background and application of performance management processes in the context of your organisation’s setting.
- To extend your understanding of performance management as a developmental process for both the individual and your organisation.
- To support you with “tools” and ideas as you further develop a greater understanding on how to establish a robust performance management system with appraisal reviews that have lasting impact.
