Critical Thinking in Action!

This module contains exemplars and ideas from the educational world and the wider world of work.  Both “worlds” have a lot to offer each other.  We do expect you’ll be able to draw some similarities and take the ideas within to further develop your own expertise.

By completing this session, we aim:

• To introduce and deepen your awareness of what critical thinking is and what it can look like in your classroom
• To support you with some classroom based “tools” and ideas as you further develop a greater understanding of critical thinking
• To support you as you work with colleagues to further develop a greater understanding of critical thinking and how to work with fellow professionals to create classrooms where critical thinking is an essential part of delivering the curriculum.
