Is your school curriculum designed to meet the needs of your students?
Is your curriculum based on a researched model of design? How do you know how well your current curriculum is working?
This remotely facilitated programme will explore research informed models of curriculum design and the principles that should drive your curriculum. We will explore effective approaches to accurately evaluate the quality of your current curriculum.
Participants will explore:
- curriculum design models that you can use in your own school
- systematic approaches to evaluating your curriculum to gather high quality evidence of your success
- explore examples of review questions and related evidence
Participants will be provided with
- 3 x 1hr remotely facilitated group online sessions with our outstanding facilitator
- Introduction to the KAA Curriculum Toolkit – which has professional learning activities and guidance for schools
- 1 months access to the KAA toolkit (with 24/7 access) for each participant
- Opportunity to share practice and learn from other participants and our expert facilitator
Our online programme offers the best of online self-study on our award winning learning platform and facilitated learning; enabling you to engage with materials at your own pace, and then discuss and dig deeper with skilled facilitators from KAA and colleagues from other schools around the world.

Facilitator: Jayne Bennion, KAA Director and Lead Consultant
Jayne is an educator with experience and expertise as a teacher, school leader and senior adviser with schools in the UK and internationally. She has designed and facilitated a range of exceptional professional learning both online and in person and has a proven track record in making a positive and sustainable difference. Jayne has successfully undertaken several high level roles including the Director of Quality Assurance with Nord Anglia Education, Founding Head of the Learning and Assessment Service in Birmingham and Curriculum Adviser with QCDA leading the development of the professional learning materials for the proposed primary national curriculum. Her latest achievements include being commissioned to develop approaches to blended learning with Nord Anglia Education, writing and facilitating Initial Teacher Training materials in the UK with Star Academies and internationally with the Curriculum Foundation. |
